Curry cucumber is the national dish of [[Svendonia]]. The dish is made by cutting small holes in a cucumber and then cooking it in water spiced with yellow curry. The curry-filled water is then absorbed by the cucumber through the holes to give it the spicy taste. Most Svendonians eat the dish on a weekly basis.

At the age of 15 [[Dulani Pirr]] started to gain interest in material things. He began to gain interest in other people's possessions but needed a way to gain ownership of them. Shortly after his 16th birthday he invented and introduced the currency Pirr (shortened pR) to the public making it the primary currency. It is believed that the first thing Pirr bought for his newly created currency was the golden statuette of the [[Bird of Freedom]], which is now exhibited in the [[Museum of Vegums]] in [[Duldul Gabana]]. The price was 9 pR.

Not long after Pirr had created the currency he had bought a larger amount of things that he suffered from insufficient money. He needed a way of getting some of his rP back so he introduced taxes in Svendonia. At that point the rules for taxes were fairly simple being that everyone who fulfilled one of these requirements had to pay 5 pR each month:
* If one owned a residence with a roof
* If one had more than 10 material things (animals and family members included)

The rules for taxes has been undergoing many changes since then and it is now believed that Svendonia has one of the most complex tax systems in the world.

The first and major controversy in the early years of pR was regarding the first requirement for taxes. The rule was that if one owned a residence with a roof one had to pay 5 pR each month. It resulted in many people removed the roof from their houses in order to avoid paying takes. Others people tried to fool the Dulani by flattening their roofs and when asked they claimed that they were in the making of another level of the house, but had currently paused the project due to numerous reasons.

Dulani Memis II (born 29 June, 1348 - 10 July, 1348) was the sixth [[Dulani]] and ruled [[Svendonia]] from his birth 29 June 1348 to his death 10 July 1348. He was the second of his name which later became the most commonly used name amongst Dulanis. A total of seven Dulanis have taken up the name of Memis.
